Please confirm whether your tax certificate on file has expired!
If you have a tax certificate on file with Marysville Marine, it is possible that it may be expiring at the end of the year. To ensure that your billing is conducted accurately and without disruption, please verify that your tax certificate on file is up to date and effective for 2025.
You can check your existing tax certificate(s) on file by navigating to My Account and selecting the Tax Certificates option from the left menu.
You must be logged in to access your account information.
Submit a Tax Exemption Certificate
We require ALL Marysville Marine wholesale accounts to provide their tax exemption certificates electronically in order to ensure that tax is not applied to their orders.
Your certificate can be easily submitted through the Marysville Marine website by visiting the Tax Certificates section. You must be logged in to the website in order to access this section and upload your certificate. This section is also accessible through the My Account page.
Once you are on the Tax Certificates page, simply click the "Add Exemption" button to add your exemption. You will have to fill out a brief form that will help determine which tax certificates are appropriate for your business. Once you have completed this process, you will be certified as tax exempt and taxes will not be applied to your orders. We ask that you please complete this process as soon as possible in order to ensure tax exemption is applied to your orders.
Please note - any orders that are existing in the shopping cart BEFORE your certificate is provided may still have tax applied at checkout. To avoid this, empty your shopping cart first. Then, submit your tax exemption. After you have submitted the tax exemption, you can then build your shopping cart and checkout without having tax applied.

In order to achieve full compliance with tax regulations, you must submit your certificate online through the process provided and certify the documents yourself. Marysville Marine cannot submit these tax documents for you because we are not allowed to certify them on your behalf.
Please note that failure to provide your tax exemption to our system could result in your orders being taxed. This process is implemented in compliance with tax code respective to each state and region within the United States.
