Attention - Important News Regarding E15 Gasoline Usage in Marine Engines
Recently, the EPA issued a temporary emergency fuel waiver for the 2026 summer driving season (starting May 1) to allow nationwide sales of E15 (15% ethanol) gasoline, aiming to lower prices amid energy market disruptions. This waiver permits E15 sales during summer months when it is typically restricted, lasting through at least May 20, 2026, with potential extensions.
Marysville Marine would like to remind you that use of E15-blended fuels in marine engines is still strictly prohibited by law, and these fuels may cause damage in marine applications. Engine manufacturers will not approve any warranty claims for situations where E15 gasoline has been used.
